Why I fish: I belong on the water, period. Nothing gets me more excited than fishing - I can fish all day everyday and never ever get sick of it, the more I fish the more I love it. It is an addiction! I also enjoy fishing tournaments because of my competitive nature of not only winning, but also understanding all of the constantly changing conditions to figure out how to catch fish and win in any situation. It is a man vs. nature game!

Tournaments: I started tournament fishing in 2005. It was a life-changing experience - tournament fishing really brought me to the next level and I decided to fish professionally for life. I started as a co-angler in B.A.S.S. tournaments, but quickly became a boater - because I needed to catch "my fish, my way." That totally opened up the door, and guess what? I won the first tournament on my own boat! I belong to the MN B.A.S.S. Nation and FLW MN TBF.

Career Highlight: Made the top 10 spot at the 2013 MN B.A.S.S. Tournament of Champions, became a member of 2014 MN State Team and winning the Northern Divisional team division
